Windows & doors

Drafty windows? Start with the worst ones.

You probably don't need to replace every window at once. We help you find the ones making the biggest difference, whether that's a cold bedroom, street noise or a slider that won't close right.

What we look at

New windows are a big spend. It's worth knowing where they'll pay off in comfort first.

The windows you have

Single-pane aluminum, old wood, failed seals with fog between the glass. Each tells us something different.

Where you feel it

Drafts near the bed, heat pouring in on summer afternoons, traffic noise. We start with those rooms.

Doing it in phases

Replacing a few windows at a time is common. We help you pick where to start.

How it works with Sanctuary

    Tell us about your home

Send us a few details about the house and what's bugging you. Photos help. Nothing gets shared without your OK.

    Talk through your options

We go over your options with you, including what each one costs you in time and hassle, and whether it makes sense to wait.

  3. 03

    Meet one vetted partner

When you're ready, and with your permission, we introduce one licensed partner we've checked carefully. They quote, contract and do the work with you directly, and we're still here if questions come up.

Before you buy

Questions worth asking

Window quotes vary a lot. These are the things to compare.

Repair might be enough

New weatherstripping or a fresh seal can fix some problems for much less. We'll say so when it applies.

Frames and glass ratings

Vinyl, fiberglass, wood and aluminum all age differently. NFRC labels tell you how the glass performs, and we'll help you read them.

Rebates and credits change

Some products may qualify for programs. We'll share what we know today. We don't give tax advice, so check with your tax pro.

Comfort and energy results depend on the home and how it's used. Results vary.

Who installs them?

A licensed contractor from our vetted partners. You meet one, with your permission.

No. There's no obligation.
