Security systems

Home security without the pressure

You don't need a 36-month contract to feel safer at home. Sometimes a doorbell camera and better lighting do the job. Sometimes a monitored system makes sense. We help you figure out which.

Start with the problem

What are you actually worried about? Packages, break-ins, or just knowing who's at the door?

Your house and lot

Entry points, side gates, dark corners. Where the equipment goes matters more than how much of it there is.

Your routine

Away a lot? Kids coming home alone? Older parent living with you? Each changes what's useful.

What you'll pay monthly

Equipment is one cost. Monitoring and cloud video storage can add up, so we put the monthly number next to the upfront one.

How it works with Sanctuary

Three steps, at your pace. You can stop at any point.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your home

Send us a few details about the house and what's bugging you. Photos help. Nothing gets shared without your OK.

  2. 02

    Talk through your options

We go over your options with you, including what each one costs you in time and hassle, and whether it makes sense to wait.

  3. 03

    Meet one vetted partner

When you're ready, and with your permission, we introduce one licensed partner we've checked carefully. They quote, contract and do the work with you directly, and we're still here if questions come up.

Read the fine print

What to check before you sign

Security companies vary a lot in how they write contracts. These are the parts to look at.

Monitored or DIY

Professional monitoring calls for help when an alarm goes off. DIY systems send the alert to your phone and leave the rest to you.

Contract length

Some providers lock you in for years. Ask what it costs to cancel before you agree to anything.

Who sees your video

Cameras collect footage of your home and your street. It's worth knowing where it's stored and who can access it.

Features, monitoring and pricing vary by provider and equipment.

Common questions

Do I need professional monitoring?

Not necessarily. If you'd rather handle alerts yourself, a self-monitored system can work fine.

Will it work with my smart home stuff?

Often, but not always. Check compatibility before you buy, and we can help with that.

Who installs it?

A licensed alarm company or contractor from our vetted partners. In California, alarm companies are licensed by the state's Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.

Am I signing up for anything by talking to you?

No. No contract, no follow-up calls you didn't ask for.

Ready when you are

Tell us about your home and we'll follow up to talk through your options, with no obligation.
